Some natural onyx can be translucent, and others not. For artificial onyx from our factory, they are all translucent with backside lights. With various vein designs and colors, different types have totally different translucent effect. However, that doesn't mean translucent onyx looks better with lights. Without lights, it also looks wonderful when you install it on the wall. This building way is what most of stone dealer will do, because it show the nobleness and luxury of onyx stone.
