Dengue rapid test kit
Dengue virus is a small yellow virus. It belongs to yellow fever virus and can cause acute infectious disease. Dengue virus can cause a range of symptoms, including lifethreatening hemorrhagic shock syndrome and rare encephalopathy associated with liver failure and acute hepatitis.
Specimen Collection:
Collect whole blood/serum/plasma into a collection tube (containing EDTA,citrate or heparin) by venipuncture.
If specimens are not immediately tested, they should be refrigerated at 2~8℃.For storage periods greater than three days, freezing is recommended. They should be brought to room temperature prior to use. Using the specimen after long-term storage of more than three days can cause non-specific reaction.
When stored at 2~8℃,the whole blood sample should be used within three days.
Directions for Use:
1. Remove the appropriate number of Dengue Combo Test Device pouches from the kit box.
2.Tear open the foil pouch and remove the decice Lay the test device on a clean, flat work surface S 3.Add I drop(approximately 30ul) of serum or plasma into sample well with a pipet
4.Then add 1-2 drops (approximately 60-90ul)of wash buffer provided in the dropper bottle holding the bottle vertically from the sample well
Interpretation of Results:
Negative: Only control pink band appears on test region of the cassette. This indicates that there is no determinand in the specimen.
Positive: Two pink bands(C,T) appear on test region of the cassette. This indicates that the specimen contains detectable amount of determinand.
Invalid: If without colored band appears at control region, this is an indication of a possible error in performing the test. The test should be repeated using a new one.
